My Progress

I'm 50km this month to leave MS behind

My Progress

My Target

Please sUpport my challenge to leave MS behind!

My daughter Jordan was diagnosed in Feb this year. My world spun for a bit, but I am always grateful for the good things we have. What to do? Walk. Walk for a cure... I’m taking part in The May 50K challenge and will be leaving my limits behind to raise funds for life-changing research into multiple sclerosis!

Sadly, MS is commonly diagnosed in the prime of life between just 20 - 40 years old. My daughter Jordan is 23.

I need your help to leave MS where it belongs, behind us. Research is the key to changing the future of MS and I’ve accepted The May 50K challenge to change lives.

Please make a donation to support my challenge.

Nat & Jordan 🙏🥰💞💪

My Updates

I really want to up my fund raising goal to $10,000. Who reckons I can do it? What have I got to lose... I started with a goal of $500 and look where I am. I reckon I can do it. Whatever shortfall I will put in myself. Yeahhhhhh baby 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💪💪

50km 💪💪💪💪

Another big thanks to my friend Marion. You are a gem. Walked on the sand from Edithvale to Mordialloc in the cold and wind but hey... a glass of wine and lovely meal was our treat at the end of it... 💞💞

My walking buddies

Big thank you to my friend Helen, who was with me for probably half of these kms. Helen is walking for Beyond Blue another great cause and we did a couple of big walks together. Lots of talking and sharing info about our experiences. Thanks H and good luck for the big 30km in one day! You go girl!! 💪💪💞💞

Number 8

Can we get to Top 5?

Monday Funday (3/5/21)

Well after a slow start due to Greek Easter on the weekend, today I started walking from home (Edithvale) to Mordialloc. Destination was 5km to buy coffee pods at Aldi 😃 it was lovely walking along the streets and on the beach. I got my pods and stopped for a Greek coffee along the way before making my way back. Thanks to all of you lovely people I am number 8 on the individual fundraiser leader board. Hoping to get in the top 5. All donations so gratefully accepted and your supportive comments and likes give me great energy. Thank you all very much. Hope your Monday was as satisfying as mine 💞💞💞

Well tomorrow is the first day I can start working towards achieving the 50 km target. How do I feel?
Well it’s Greek Orthodox Easter, so I’m not sure how much walking I will get in this weekend.
But, to be honest, I have been completely overwhelmed by the support in terms of donations for this great cause that have been provided by so many wonderful people. Some are family and friends I have known for years. Others are work colleagues I have had contact with over time and others are work colleagues I have not ever met. Every single donation is precious. Every one of them means that someone read our story and was prepared to financially support the great cause of research to find a cure for MS. I am humbled and grateful for the support.
Love and positive energy to everyone

I’m so touched by your support...

Honestly, I’m so touched by the support we have received so far.  A couple of tears have been shed. I’ve increased our target twice already. Thanks so much to everyone that has donated. I feel so happy to be doing something positive with all your help ❤️❤️

Thank you to my Sponsors

Nat and Jordan, I have often enjoyed a glass of wine and meal discussing the family holidays and accomplishments of a much loved young lady. So, to read about the current challenges was very saddening to me. I wish both you and Jordan a quick and successful journey to an all clear diagnosis! Love Steve

I know first hand the impact MS has, my Aunty suffered over 50 years, she was around Jordan's age when diagnosed. She had 5 beautiful boys and still lived a wonderful life, she never gave up. I lived with her for a while in my teens (in the 80's) with wonderful memories. I privileged to be by her side as she took her last breath. This is such a wonderful thing you are doing. More funding is needed for MS research, a disease sadly not recognised enough.

Andrea Koletsis

Sending lots of love and support!
