Support my challenge to leave MS behind!

I’m taking part in The May 50K challenge this May to raise funds for life-changing research into multiple sclerosis! I’ll be walking/running 150km.

MS strikes young people in the prime of their lives. The average age of diagnosis is only 30 years old, and there is no known cure.

I was diagnosed finally in 2021 after years of symptoms such as muscle spasms and weakness, sensations of spiders crawling on my legs, pain in feet and calves and fatigue. I had a normal amount of lesions on my brain MRI so it was put down to stress and anaemia (low iron levels)

I had a relapse in 2021 losing the ability to lift my right leg when shaving my legs in the shower one night. I was walking with a limp and then my right torso went numb. An MRI revealed a lesion on my spine. Luckily I gained feeling back and my leg only drags if I’m super tired or done a lot of exercise. I’ve taken Mavenclad medication to hopefully not allow this to progress further 🤞

Please make a donation and support my challenge to leave MS where it belongs, behind us.

Your donation will support research into the prevention, treatment and finding a cure for multiple sclerosis to change lives.

Thank you!
