We got there...

"We" being Wendy Bird and I stepped out a final 5.8km to make it over the 50km finish line. A few pesky hills (Toowoomba is not flat), some heavy breathing, a small blister, parched lips (westerly winter winds have started early), and sheer determination.

Robyn took me for a walk

I don't need to borrow Bella the fluffy dog wonder, just her handler Robyn. Robyn kept the pace up, stopped me from sniffing trees, made me do 3km instead of 2km, and let me take a happy snap of our adventures. Best walking buddy a girl could have. Plus. we added 6km to our walking tally!

Car service = walk to work opportunity!

I dropped my car in for a recall services this morning. This offered the perfect opportunity for a stroll to and from work through the tree lined streets of the south east CBD fringe. I was too busy admiring autumns glow...and forgot to take a photo!

Nearly at 20%…

another 2km in the bank, even though it was the last thing I felt like doing tonight

Just keep walking

every step counts…

Qvb

Too busy walking around looking up saying wow too take a photo of the Queen Vic Building in Sydney. Nice and peaceful at the end of the day, perfect for a stroll, window shop and then another 1.5km walk back to my accommodation. I caught the fantastic light rail to the destination first. Such a great addition to the city!

Opera house conference adventure

Today's Conference was held at the iconic Sydney Opera House! It was raining cats and dogs on the way in, but by this afternoon the sun had come out. So a great opportunity for a walk back towards my accommodation, ahead of the evening activities!

The rocks to china town

And I'm off...walking back to my hotel from my days adventure at The Rocks, Sydney. A nice easy 2.5 km stretch with a little bit of downhill action. Beautiful place to start walking from!

First steps tracked

and I’m on my way… even did this one uphill

Support our challenge to leave MS behind!

We are taking part in The May 50K challenge this May to raise funds for life-changing research into multiple sclerosis!

MS strikes young people in the prime of their lives. The average age of diagnosis is only 30 years old, and there is no known cure.

Please make a donation and support our challenge to leave MS where it belongs, behind us.

Your donation will support research into the prevention, treatment and finding a cure for multiple sclerosis to change lives.

Thank you!
