Support my challenge to leave MS behind!
As a person living with MS, I find it important to always participate in The May 50K so that I can raise money and make a positive contribution to the ongoing research into MS as it can change lives and makes a huge difference to the MS community.
In the four years since my diagnosis, I have been fortunate enough to have no relapses. This is in large part thanks to the treatment that I receive via infusion and without funding into research on treatments such as this, I may not have been so lucky; there are many in the MS community who are not.
Every year, with the aid of my trusty canine companion Luna (and my husband, Scott), we work hard to try and hit our 50km target. 50km along a month might not seem like much, but for someone with MS it is and can always be a struggle but with the support of my favourite team, it's not so daunting.
Your donations are always so appreciated and will support research into the prevention, treatment and finding a cure for multiple sclerosis so that we can leave MS where it belongs, behind us.
