Country sa

I grew up in a small country town in South Australia, about 100 km from Adelaide. There were lots of wheat and sheep farms in the community. One of the most successful farms in the district was the Smyth’s. I knew the family from community events, party’s, and the three children who were similar ages to my family, went to the same school as we did. I was quite young at the time and don’t remember a lot, but their Mum was the only person in the community that I knew who was in a wheelchair. Her name was Michelle, and she had MS. It must have been very difficult for her and the family. She passed away far too early, her children were still about Primary School age. This must have been very difficult for the whole family. While I don’t remember much due to my young age, this was the only person that I have known with MS. Simon

Support our challenge to leave MS behind!

We are taking part in The May 50K challenge this May to raise funds for life-changing research into multiple sclerosis!

MS strikes young people in the prime of their lives. The average age of diagnosis is only 30 years old, and there is no known cure.

Please make a donation and support our challenge to leave MS where it belongs, behind us.

Your donation will support research into the prevention, treatment and finding a cure for multiple sclerosis to change lives.

Thank you!
