I'm 60km this month to leave MS behind
Support my challenge to leave MS behind!
Despite being far more comfortable on a bike, I’m taking part in the May 50K challenge, to raise funds for research into multiple sclerosis!
Sadly, MS is commonly diagnosed in the prime of life between just 20 - 40 years old. I just sneaked in, I was 38 when I was diagnosed.
I’ve accepted The May 50K challenge to change lives. The last time I saw my Neurologist he said "I hope you raise lots of money. I'm putting in for a grant this year,"
My son Huw registered me for this year's challenge. As I recently turned 60, I'm aiming to walk 60km in May.
I've joined Connie's Crew. Connie was only 9 when she was diagnosed with MS. Imagine being 9-years-old and being told that you have a condition for which there is no cure. I'm not walking for me, I'm doing it for Connie and others far younger than me who have MS. Let's find a cure for them!
I'll be back on the bike for the MS Sydney2theGong ride in November. But in the meantime please make a donation to support me in my walking challenge.
