It’s may 31!! and we did it!!!

A huge thanks to everyone who donated! All of us reached our personal goals and completed the 50K’s and Lynny - ever the over achiever smashed her goal and just kept moving the yardstick. The Worba Wobblers as a team have raised over $2000 so we are thrilled that we have been able to bring together our friends and families to raise both funds and awareness. Huge thanks and huge love to all.

And today the sun shone

Finally !!! we greeted the day with sunshine and were able to get out and walk - today we explored the Noosa Botanical Gardens and they were spectacular. What a great way to log another couple of kilometres and to greet the day. We are half way through the month and I definitely have some catch up walking to do - but thanks to some truly generous donations we were able to increase our Group fundraising target! yay!!!

Great weather for ducks!

The progress in the walking has stalled somewhat due to the inclement weather - that said - we are sure to pick up the pace as soon as the sun starts shining again. We are so grateful for all the contributions so far - but we have a long way to go in our journey towards greater knowledge and understanding of MS.

Brisbane botanic garden walking

Lynny and I finally stepped out on our first walk for the May 50K through the streets of Brisbane. The new pedestrian bridge makes the walk over from Kangaroo Point and through the Botanic Gardens a really lovely way to greet the day, be thankful for the blessings of good health and kick off our walking to increase awareness of research into treatments and one day cure of MS.
