Support my challenge to leave ms behind!

I’m taking part in The May 50K challenge this May to raise funds for life-changing research into multiple sclerosis! MS strikes young people in the prime of their lives. The average age of diagnosis is only 30 years old, and there is no known cure. Please make a donation and support my challenge to leave MS where it belongs, behind us. Your donation will support research into the prevention, treatment and finding a cure for multiple sclerosis to change lives. Thank you!

Day 21 of may50km

Well we’ve reached Day 21 and thanks to my generous Sponsors, friends and family support I’ve smashed out 36 km so far (if my maths is correct 👍 😹). So I have another 14 km to walk in 10 days. After walking through covid, problem solving to get around the unreliable MS App and having my Blogs drop off the edge of cyberspace, I think the last leg will be a walk in the park. Nothing is getting in my way to complete my Pledge and raise money for research to put MS behind us! We’ve got this people! Thanks for hanging in there with me! 🤩🫶💜🧡🤗 I’ll put some photos on Facebook of todays walk. I hope you enjoy them. 🫶🥰

Day 20 of my ms may50km walk 🚶🏻‍♀️ 🫶

Hi amazing Sponsors, friends and family 👋. It’s Day 20 of my Pledge and I’m still walking the pavement to put MS behind us!🚶🏻‍♀️🤗. Today I’ve also started putting covid behind me too! 🤲 🤗 You might have noticed today’s kilometres were 4 different numbers which all added to 3.6 km. That’s because the MS App is still playing up, so for accuracy I also used my FitBit to measure and I added the last .6 km manually. I’ve got my determined hat on 🧢 , and am so excited that we’re on the home run! So far I’ve walked 32.3 km and have 17.7 to walk with 11 days to go. With all your support we’ve got this! I’ve uploaded some photos from today’s walk near Black Hill and hope you enjoy them! ♥️💜🫶🤗🤩

Day 17 of my may50km pledge

We’re over the half way mark and I’m still committed to my Pledge to walk 50 km in May! Thanks again to my generous Sponsors as every amount that goes to MS research is another step forward to putting MS behind us. Since Sunday I’ve been down with covid so you may have noticed my walking slowed down a bit. But I’m still putting my best feet forward and did a slow paced 2.4 km walk around the local park today. So far I’ve walked 23.7 km in May and have 26.3 to go. If you’d like to support my Pledge for any amount please look below ⬇️. Every bit helps; we’ve totally got this. Not even covid is going to stop me! 🫶🙏💜💜

Day 12 of my may50km pledge

Wow, it’s day 12 and my pledge to walk 50 km in May to support research to put MS behind me is still as strong as ever. Tonight I walked 3.2 km under the May full moon which apparently is called the flower moon 🌸🤩 You may have noticed the App has recorded that I’ve walked 69.1 km. This was because of a glitch in the App that recorded I’d walked 50 km on Day 1. I’m not able to correct it and I’m committed to reaching my goal and so far I’ve walked 19.1 km and have 30.9 to go! If you’d like to sponsor this very worthy cause any amount will keep moving us forward! Thank you generous Sponsors, family and friends for your support!🫶🚶🏻‍♀️💜🌸🤩

Day 10 of my may50km 👏

It’s Day 10 of my Pledge and yesterday afternoon my friend Bronwyn and I walked 3.5 km with Athelstone’s spectacular Black Hill as our backdrop 🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻‍♀️⛰️🫶. We’re a third of the way into our Pledge, we’ve got this, walking 50 km in May to raise funds for research to put MS behind us! Thanks to my beautiful Sponsors, family and friends for supporting my Pledge for such an important cause. If you’d like to Sponsor any amount it will all help. We’re heading towards the goal of raising $300! We’re in this together! 🚶🏻‍♀️🫶🤩

It’s day 9 of may50km pledge

Well amazing Sponsors, family and friends, it’s day 9, it’s gone so quickly, and tonight I walked 3.09 km under the moonlight with stunning Black Hill as a backdrop🚶🏻‍♀️⛰️ 🤩. I feel you all on the sidelines cheering me on and I’m so excited to be part of such a worthy cause with you all to raise funds for research to put MS behind us! We’re in this together and we’ve got this! 🤩🫶🤗💜

Day 7 of the may 50 km

Tonight I walked 2.1 km under the Mount Gambier moonlight to continue my Pledge to walk 50 kilometres in May to leave MS behind us. Thanks to my wonderful Sponsors, friends and family for cheering me on from the sidelines. 🙏 Your donations and support to help raise funds, awareness and to further research will make a difference to all living with MS and their families and friends. Bless 🫶♥️

Day 5 of my pledge to walk 50 km in may

It’s the 5th of May 2025 and I’m on Day 5 of my Pledge to walk 50 km this month to put MS behind us. So far I’ve walked 5.1 kilometres. I’m being creative with finding ways to walk more and have fun. Last night I walked to the Supermarket to do my food shopping for the week 🛍️ and this morning I walked to work. I felt revitalised and excited to be using exercise for a good purpose. I’m going to make every opportunity count and I’m on a winning role so far. If you can spare a few dollars 💸 to help me reach my donation pledge of $300 for the MS Society to continue their invaluable research you’ll be joining with me to help put MS behind us. Thanks for reading my blog 🫶✨🤩
