I have recently been diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis).

I've deliberated about sharing my diagnosis with everyone for a while for various reasons. But ultimately, I feel that talking about things can be very therapeutic and can also help others in not feeling so alone in whatever they're facing, whether it's MS or something else. (I'm always happy to have a chat or even just listen).

I participated in TheMay50k in 2024 predominantly for my mum, who also has MS. I'm participating this year for both of us and for everyone else who is affected by this disease. Thankfully, there are treatments for MS (I start treatment soon), and we are so grateful for that, but hopefully by fundraising we can contribute to funding more research into finding a cure.

I'll be mixing it up with walking, jogging and riding 150km in the month of May and would greatly appreciate your help in fundraising for MS research!
