In 2009 my world was rocked by my MS diagnosis.

No-one saw that coming. At the time I didn't understand what it meant for my future, and I was afraid.

Now, I am better informed, am clearer about my strength and thankful for my determination and resilience. I am determined to ensure that my diagnosis doesn't define me. What's ahead for me is unclear, but each day I am thankful to my support crew. My precious family and my friends. They give me strength and cheer me on.

Together we can make a difference, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and donation (no matter how big or small...every cent counts).

MS strikes young people in the prime of their lives. The average age of diagnosis is only 30 years old. It was my 34th birthday when I was diagnosed. There is no known cure.
