I’m taking part in The May 50K challenge this May to raise funds for life-changing research into multiple sclerosis!

MS strikes young people in the prime of their lives. The average age of diagnosis is only 30 years old, and there is no known cure.

My why…

In 2009 my world was rocked by my MS diagnosis.

No-one saw that coming. At the time I didn't understand what it meant for my future, and I was afraid.

Now, I am better informed, I understand my strength and am thankful for my determination and resilience. My diagnosis will never define me. 
What's ahead for me is unclear. However, each day I am thankful to my support crew for their love, care and encouragement. My precious family and my friends are a blessing. They give me strength and cheer me on.

MS strikes young people in the prime of their lives. The average age of diagnosis is only 30 years old. It was my 34th birthday when I was diagnosed. There is no known cure.

This year I have joined my workplace in taking part in the May 50k challenge! I will do my part by walking 50kms throughout May. I’d really appreciate your sponsorship and support.

Together we can make a difference, and I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for your support and donation (no matter how big or small...every cent counts).
