Support my challenge to leave MS behind!
I’m taking part in The May 50K challenge this May to raise funds for life-changing research into multiple sclerosis!
MS strikes young people in the prime of their lives. The average age of diagnosis is only 30 years old, and there is no known cure.
Please make a donation and support my challenge to leave MS where it belongs, behind us.
Your donation will support research into the prevention, treatment and finding a cure for multiple sclerosis to change lives.
Thank you!

My Updates
Day 24 and 25
Smashing it!!!! I have reached 250km. The final 6 days and hoping to reach 300km.
Day 18-23
The final week and trying my best to get as many kms as possible. Finally got 216km - this is the best I have ever achieved on the May50k over the past 3 years. This was achieved by doing 2 sessions on the bike. Totally out of character but very surprised and pleased !!!
Day 17
A momentous day!!!! Finally reached my goal of 150km. I kept pushing and never giving up to move toward the finish line. Like MS it never gives you a break but I am determined to make things better. I may have been gifted this condition - it does not mean that I have to let it control me.
Days 12 - 16
It has been a difficult 5 days trying to keep going with the kms. Some days have been harder to move and it has been a bit on and off. I find that my MS goes in waves and is totally unpredicatable!!!
Day 11
Smashed 100km - it wasn’t easy but you have to keep going. MS doesn’t go away and never will my determination!!!
Day 10
It has been an eventful day - finally reached 50% of my target. Some days with MS I can do more and others I can hardly move. The unpredictability of MS is crazy!!!
Day 9
What a busy and productive day. Started with Physio. Even though I didn’t want to but it was worth it.
Day 7 & 8
The end of the week was a bit harder. Work has been busy and my lethargy has been a bit more intense. Still managed to walk when I could manage it.
Day 4
What a massive day!!! Started the day since it is Labour Day to join my fellow teacher in a union march. This was a huge drop me with all the uneven roads - thanks Brisbane City Council. Fix the damn roads!!!
Day 2 and 3
It has been crazy over the past 2 days. MS is very unpredictable - some days are better than others. Warriors with MS will totally understand.
Day 1
Smashed 6km on Day 1. It has been a mammoth day of keeping going for this important cause.
The journey begins!!!!
A huge thank you to all my supporters and the generous people that have donated. Amazing!!!!
My journey
This May, I’m committing to 150 kilometres for a reason that’s deeply personal. This is my third year doing this personal challenge. This is after years of physical challenges and finally understanding that “I have MS!!!”. In the beginning this was hard for me to acknowledge and accept. However now I know I am a survivor and a warrior.
After being diagnosed with MS, I’ve had to rethink what progress looks like. Some days are strong, others are slower—but every step forward matters. This challenge isn’t about speed or perfection; it’s about consistency, resilience, and showing up for myself.
Each kilometre is a reminder that I’m still capable, still moving, and more than my diagnosis. By sharing this, I also hope to raise awareness of MS and what living with it can look like.
150 kilometres, one step at a time—on my terms.
