Supporting MS with the Hot Mess Express!!

We’re twins Keara & Amelia, and for some reason we thought ‘let’s do this together’ was a good idea.

Keara is living with MS, and Amelia is supporting her in this battle while also dealing with her own chronic illnesses 😄. Together we’re the Hot Mess Express, double the trouble and double the laughs. We’re doing this to raise awareness, support each other, and hopefully help move things closer to a cure.

We live in two different states, Keara in Far North Queensland, where the rainforest meets the reef, and Amelia on the NSW Mid North Coast, where the rainforest meets… well, more rainforest, so our relationship is 50% absent-minded long phone calls, 20% chaotic video chats, 10% WhatsApp messages, 6% memes, and 4% “wtf was that?” Somehow it works, and we’ll be doing this walk together while being apart.

Joining Keara on her walks is Ace 🐾, professional attention seeker and full-time Chaos Coordinator, along with her kids Giselle and Juan, who will probably outwalk all of us. Amelia will be out on her rainforest walks, camera at the ready, and stopping frequently for a yarn with hikers along the way.

And of course, we’ll be in regular contact with each and providing updates along the way. Expect honesty, random oversharing, and uncoordinated twinning. Mostly for proof we didn’t sit on the couch and drink wine, but also for laughs, motivation, and hilarious commentary.
