Support my challenge to leave MS behind!

I’m taking part in The May 50K challenge this May to raise funds for life-changing research into multiple sclerosis!

MS strikes young people in the prime of their lives. The average age of diagnosis is only 30 years old, and there is no known cure.

Please make a donation and support my challenge to leave MS where it belongs, behind us.

Your donation will support research into the prevention, treatment and finding a cure for multiple sclerosis to change lives.

Thank you!

Every Step Has A Story

Day 7 – MS 50km in May
A mile a day (and some)💕🚶‍♀️

Every Step Has a Story

One of the hardest things about invisible illness is that so many people continue showing up for life while quietly carrying things others cannot see.

They go to work, raise children, support families, smile through exhaustion, and adapt daily without asking for recognition.

Today’s walk is for those people.

My sister-in-law Abby shared her own words with me, and I wanted to include them exactly as she wrote them because this is the reality behind why this fundraiser matters.

“At 37, I’m a wife, a mum to Tilly 8 and Maze 5, and I live with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis.

I was diagnosed in 2017, after months of symptoms I tried to ignore while planning our wedding and working full-time.

The same week I got my diagnosis, I also found out I was pregnant. The joy of motherhood surpassed the weight of accepting a life changing condition.

Life became beautifully busy, and I never truly paused to process my what MS means for my family and I.

This is why Kristy’s 50Ks in May means so much. Behind every step is a story, still unfolding with strength, love, and resilience."

MS doesn’t always look the way people expect it to.

Sometimes it looks like school lunches packed before dawn, children hugged tight through fatigue, work completed despite pain, and families adjusting quietly behind closed doors.

Research matters. Awareness matters. Compassion matters.
And every kilometre walked this month is for stories like Abby’s. 💙

My Mum lived with MS for many years before she knew and after her diagnosis. The struggles were real and sometimes silent. Thru it all she was strong and never wavered in her belief that there was always someone worse off than her. She taught me a lot with her strength and how she carried herself. I miss her every day 🌻 Thank you x
