MS strikes young people in the prime of their lives. The average age of diagnosis is only 30 years old, and there is no known cure.

Milestone No 1 - Sydney Half Marathon
Got my first big May50K challenge done today - the Sydney Half Marathon. Joints held up and ran much better than feared! Still got 115km to go and another Half Marathon on World MS Day - May 30! Fundraising on target, too!
May 1 and we’re off to a good start in Perth!
Up at dawn to run six kms before giving a keynote address at the Australasian Neurological Conference in Perth. A bit worried about the Sydney Half Marathon on Sunday.
