Support my challenge to leave MS behind!

I’m taking part in The May 50K challenge this May to raise funds for life-changing research into multiple sclerosis!

MS often strikes people in the prime of their lives. I was first aware of symptoms in my late 20s but I have been lucky as my MS has been a slow progression. For many the disabling effects of MS come when they are starting careers or families and there is no known cure.

If you are able to, please make a donation however small, it all helps.

Your donation will support research into the prevention, treatment and finding a cure for multiple sclerosis to change lives.

Thank you!

MY IMPACT TO LEAVE MS BEHIND OVER 2 YEARS

My Updates

A day with MS

Today was not one of my best days. Weird pains, spasms, legs not working. That’s my normal start for the day. Go through daily routine of startup exercises and yes I can move, take the dog out, feels so good. 😊 I was ok whilst I kept moving but brief stop and the tremors started then the legs packed up. Tried everything I could but needed wheelchair again. 😩 Couldn’t even tie my own shoe laces 😢

Gratitude

Started the 2025 May 50 with a walk and interval run. Both of which I thought I’d never do again after my MS put me in a wheelchair full time. Thanks to my amazing physio and a massive amount of continuous hard work I can get out and move at least some of the time and I am grateful for every single step.
