My twenty five year old son, Hamish, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) at Easter this year after struggling for a period of time with vision and a couple of other symptoms.
It was a shock for him and everyone else. He has found both medical support and personal support from others going through the same journey. His partner, Lydia, has been an amazing support. Support is also coming from the wider family, friends, his employer, the wider community and very importantly others going through the same journey with MS.
This MS50 challenge to raise awareness and funds for future research is what is driving me to assist everyone going through the journey raising money and doing the kilometres in the dark before work.
